Spider-Man (PS4) Overview Marvel's Spider-Man is an action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in September 2018, the game offers an original take on the Spider-Man universe, featuring a seasoned Peter Parker rather than an origin story. Story Set in a vibrant open-world New York City, the game follows Peter Parker, who has been Spider-Man for eight years. He works alongside NYPD officer Yuri Watanabe to take down crime lord Wilson Fisk (Kingpin). However, a new threat emerges in the form of the Demon gang, led by Martin Li (Mister Negative), who has a personal vendetta against Peter's mentor, Mayor Norman Osborn. As the story unfolds, Peter faces multiple villains, including Doctor Octopus, Electro, Scorpion, Vulture, and Rhino, all forming the Sinister Six.
